Sooner or later, local businesses will start to understand that a website is a
powerful, cost-effective part of the overall marketing blend of their offline
businesses.
There are so many local businesses who want
to get on the Internet, but haven't got a clue about how to make it work for their
own circumstances.
Sharon Fling created a
great site about local business over the Net.
A smart person learns from their own mistakes... a really smart person
learns from other people's mistakes!
A guide of this
sort would show readers various ways that other netrepreneurs have failed,
including interviews with a few brave business owners. After each 'confession', you
could have a Lessons Learned section from top Internet Marketers, where you tell
your readers what could or should have
been differently.
Rick Adams wrote a
great e-book about embarrassing online mistakes that 18 top Internet marketers
have made - so that you don't have to go through the same learning curve
or having to re-invent the wheel.
You could provide information resources for home business people, to start
their own child daycare. Or you could also offer information resources for
special needs parents and disability professionals.
You could also develop a compilation of year-long diaries from parents of your
acquaintances.
You could also provide parenting advice and support on children's behavior.

For example, you could create a members-only site for, say Nascar enthusiasts. They'd pay
you a monthly membership fee for gaining access to this targeted
online community where they could share views at your forum about their favorite

Then, you could also offer applicable Nascar resources, articles, and links to
relevant and informative sites that offer affiliate programs, news and anything else that would interest
this niche audience of yours.
You could even try to invite Nascar experts and pilots to write an exclusive
column in your private newsletter or provide advice to your members in exchange for advertising…
and obviously you could also send e-mails to your subscribers with special
offers about Nascar products that relate directly to their interests and hobbies.
Finally, you might even include a specialty
online store where your subscribers could buy the latest Nascar books, videos,
DVDs - together with a careful selection of appropriate merchants offering good
commissions to affiliate sites.

get listed, and specific business
ideas for certain professional niches to promote themselves over the Net.
Or you could also consider getting yourself this outstanding e-book about you
could make your knowledge
sell over the Internet.
If you are an auction Power Seller, why not converting the current services you
provide into a hot product (e.g. an e-book)?
Instead of working by the hour, why not rather explaining others where to
get the hottest products at the lowest prices - and then how to sell them well
at online auctions?
That's what Marty Fiegl did, by publishing a very successful e-book called
Auction Sources Exposed, after being an eBay Power Seller for several
years... and his auction profits skyrocketed.
If you are successful as a trader, why not teach others the 'secrets' of
effective profit trading with short term trading opportunities in futures,

colleges, universities, dance schools,
and other adult education centers to promote their
establishments more effectively over the Internet.
A great source of

Includes a directory of online directories, opt-in lists they can mail their offer to (the so-called safelists), how to best use classified ads, setting up an affiliate program, consulting services for making the website or e-zine sell, banner exchange services, home business ideas, new online innovative products available for resale, promotional tools, online marketing and advertising resources, and more.
You could offer a guide of perfectly legal strategies for reducing your taxes, postponing
their payment, or even avoiding them all together, which are not well known by small
business / home business owners.
