Well, in previous issues of this e-newsletter, I've been reviewing several great web tools offering  a solution to such problem, e.g.

This week, I found out about a better software tool called Product Ideas Evaluator (P.I.P.E.)...

To begin using P.I.P.E., you must enter several items:

Up to three keyword phrases to evaluate:

• Average anticipated revenue from an order
• Anticipated Click Through Rate (CTR) for your PPC ad, and
• Non-ad cost of product as a percentage of revenue

Then, all you have to do is to select the Generate Report button and the software begins to access various online databases.

The resulting report gives a great deal of relevant information about the likelihood for you to generate profits out of your own Internet business ideas.

Using data from Overture, Google AdWords, and other pay-per-click engines, the script generates a table of related keyword phrases. For each, it's provided:

• Supply, i.e. the number of sites that show up on a search for that specific keyword phrase.
   
• Demand, i.e. the number of views for the search term during the previous month, based on Overture Suggestion Tool data
   
• Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI).
  A high KEI identifies the least competitive keywords with the highest demand.
   
• Pay Per Click Effectiveness Index (PPCEI).
  This new index factors in the relative Cost Per Click for several pay-per-click campaigns with supply and demand data. Average Cost Per Click is given, plus the average bid price for the top 5 positions for each keyword.
   

Based on this data, P.I.P.E. calculates profitability of each pay-per-click campaign based on this group of keyword phrases, showing you what Conversion Rate (CR) is required for ensuring profitability.

For each CR, P.I.P.E. also estimates the average cost per visitor, as well as the value and profit per visitor.

With this software tool, you'll save lots of research time and also you'll be able to find out much quicker some of the best product and service niche opportunities currently available online.

Personally, I'll be using P.I.P.E. for providing better advice to my local clients on how interesting any particular niche market is in a proposed product...
